But Emily Ratajkowski‘s designated fringe-talker-outer must not have been available in her moment of need because the model and actor has revealed that her decision to get bangs led to a rather regrettable haircut.
Being as candid as she is, Emrata was generous enough to share her… interesting new look on TikTok.
“Story time. Yes, I have a filter on because I have the worst haircut of my life, and I need to feel pretty. Okay, let’s go,” she says, switching from an innocuous middle-parted look to what I have to admit are strangely heavy, long, shapeless bangs.
“Oh, you thought I was going to be funny? Like, I have bangs on the back of my head,” Emrata says as she picks up a random, short piece of hair. She attempts to ease her own mind about the vibe it’s giving, but she doesn’t seem convinced.
“The very nice man who did this to me”—she doesn’t name names—”I think he was, like, going British shag. British shaggy. But, like, the main thing is it’s not me, you know? Shocking. Shocking.”

And I have to be honest, styling it with loose curls actually looks pretty damn good.
