My Review
As a huge fan of Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum (I have been using the various iterations of this formula for over 20 years), I was very keen to try out this new overnight treatment.
What I love about the serum is how super gentle it is, yet incredibly effective, and it is the kind of product that delivers benefits no matter what kind of position my skin is in. It’s great when my skin is great, and it’s great when my skin is reactive or suffering. It’s just such a reliable product.
I even find it can tackle a little breakout every now and again and I always reach for it if I feel I have a spot brewing. I think this is a little know fact about ANR because the focus is on anti-ageing and hydration, but it’s great on congestion and blocked pores too! Have you found that?

Anyway, back to the newness, the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Overnight Treatment. I received quite a few questions about this from readers when it first launched, so I really wanted to properly test this out.
First of all, I love the packaging. It comes in a heavy glass jar that has that old school chic feel that the Advanced Night Repair franchise is all about. I just love all the ANR vibes.
So this is designed as an extra final step in your skincare routine to super boost overnight recovery and address ageing concerns. Estee Lauder are the masters of overnight repair so I knew this would be a good formula.
I have been using this for just over three weeks now and honestly, I am very impressed. I have to say, it’s a beautiful product and perfect for this time of year when skin can get compromused.
In fact, just before I started using it, I tried out a new Vitamin C serum that my skin didn’t love and using this really helped the recovery process. It is extremely soothing and healing, so I can see why they recommend it for post-procedure use.
The Texture & Application
The treatment itself has a beautifully soft melting texture that feels like silk on the skin. It layers easily over serums and moisturisers and sinks in very nicely without feeling heavy or sticky.
I pop it on just before I turn the lights out and can completely forget about it. It doesn’t make my face stick to the pillow at all. A little goes a long way, so a jar will last some time.
The Results
As I said, I’ve been using the ANR Overnight Treatment consistently for over three weeks, and I’m really enjoying it. Here’s what I noticed:
