Transitional Style. | Barely There Beauty

A change in the weather is my cue to start seeking out pieces for the autumn transition.

I’ve inadvertently fallen upon a ‘neutral and navy’ feel to my inspiration – a perfectly predictable autumnal take on summer’s blue and white!

I’ve decided I love cotton sweaters. They feel lovely, they tend to sit nicely and they’re a bit more lightweight than 100% cashmere. This off-white one has a seamless design which I think just looks extra stylish.

Whilst I own a few silk shirts and blouses in a more traditional style, I love the smocked detailing of this one. It’s under £100(!) and would make a perfect accompaniment to this beautiful printed skirt.

I keep hearing of ballet flats being ‘back’ in fashion – in my book,
when were they ever out?? It’s only recently occurred to me that I don’t
own a navy pair and I already own these particular beauties in cognac
and black – so, so comfortable.

Sharing a few more transitional ideas below, I hope you find something you love.

xx
